Tiffany Rose-Mitchell has been dancing ever since she could walk, taking her first classes at the age of 2. She has danced at every level possible, from high school to collegiate to professional. Miss Tiffany studied for many years under Miss Louise Vella of Pittsburgh, PA. She became a student teacher at age 13 and began producing choreographed pieces for competitions soon after. As a student, she won numerous dance awards and scholarships.
Miss Tiffany has danced professionally both in the United States and abroad. She has performed at both the Citrus Bowl and the Liberty Bowl, as well as a variety of stage shows and parades at the Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disneyland.
Miss Tiffany had the privilege to take ten private tap lessons under Gregory Hines in NYC. She also studied under Al Gilbert for years in Pittsburgh, PA. She studied Jazz at Point Park College and was a member of the Youth Pittsburgh Ballet, the Civic Light Opera, and attended Larry Cervi School of Performing Arts for 5 years. She studied modeling for years at John Casablanca Model Management School, appearing in commercials with Carol Alt, & Bill Cosby. Her performing career lead her to performances for some of acting's elite, such as Dan Akroyd, Michael J. Fox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Halle Berry, Brittany Spears, Christy Brinkley, and even Michael Jackson.
Tiffany earned a spot on the Rollins Dance Company in Orlando, but soon accepted a contract with Disney, which led to her career in the Walt Disney entertainment department. For the next 9 years, she performed daily and nightly in stage shows, parades, filming, and special events. Tiffany was one of twelve people selected globally for the elite Tokyo Disneyland contract, and performed multiple times a day for 8 months in Tokyo. "It was such an honor, and I was humbled by the way the Japanese were so respectful toward one another. It is a beautiful way of life."
She taught at Kathryn McCrohn School of Dance in Boston, MA, as well as the school dance programs in Sudbury, MA. Miss Tiffany has instructed the hip hop, jazz, modern, & lyrical programs at previous job location. " Art is Life ", the dance Miss Tiffany created for her 2009 Company Production, was recognized for its innovative choreography by Dancer Magazine.
She studied at Tremaine Dance Conventions in Orlando for the past 8 years as well. Over the years, her dancers have been selected to Disney, Universal, TheBoston Conservatory, the New York City Ballet, the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, American Music & Dramatic Academy, full dance scholarships. and numerous collegiate dance teams. Tiffany went on to be the owner/ director of her very own Performing Arts Academy turning the competitive team into nationally ranked with in two years. Winning Top 10 Business women of year for Style Magazine two years in a row, she has won a variety of awards and etiquette awards for her and her students at competitions. Dedication, love, and enthusiasm are the qualities Miss Tiffany instills in her students, along with passion, technique, and style. Miss Tiffany believes dance builds healthy habits and promotes teamwork, qualities that will help students throughout their lives.
