Miss Sydney

Sydney is an alumni student of Mrs. Tiffany's at A Step Ahead Academy.  She holds a degree in Dance Performance from Valencia College in Orlando, and will be teaching Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Technique, Musical Theatre, and the preschool program.  She has 21 years of dance and performance experience, 6 years of choral training and  performing. She has also coached and choreographed competitive color guard for the last 6 years at Leesburg High School, with 3 years competing on the FFCC circuit. 

Miss Sydney has taught dance at Footworks Dance Studio in Winter Garden for the last 2 years, and is currently a performer at Universal Studios Florida.  She has also a certified Pure Barre fitness instructor and teaches at Pure Barre Clermont.

Miss Sydney trained for years with the Radio City Rockettes in New York City, and is a contracted Macy's Holiday Parade Performer.  She was a choreographer for Swarm Spin Ensemble for the last 6 years as well.

"I have taught at various  studios with children of all ages. I have performed in many different environments in many  different genres of dance. I feel confident and comfortable teaching all levels of Ballet, Jazz, Tap,  Lyrical, and Musical theatre. I can also teach beginning levels of tumbling and acro." 

Miss Sydney is glad to be coming back home to ASA Performing Arts Academy and we are honored she is here.
