Anthony began dancing in an all boys hip-hop group when he was 10. After competing in a few contests in elementary & middle school, by high school he was dancing 6 days a week in ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, lyrical, jazz, and modern. His competition schedule took him from NYC, Las Vegas, Disneyland, and his home state of Arizona. Anthony performed as Burt in his studios production of Mary Poppins. In the audience was DeeDee Wood (choreographer of the Disney movie Mary Poppins) and she told Anthony after the show that she was moved to tears with how much he reminded her of Dick Van Dyke.
When he was 17, Anthony was accepted into the exclusive Nutmeg Conservatory for the Arts where he was immersed in advanced ballet training. He also danced professionally aboard the Holland America cruise lines. However, a meniscus tear would cut his dance career short.
In 2016, Anthony started working at the Nature Coast YMCA here in Citrus County where many students know him from teaching Tiny Tots Dance, tumbling, and hip hop classes. Anthony is excited to become a part of the ASA faculty and "teach some serious dance students."
