Miss Emily

An award winning choreographer with numerous accolades from professional dancers and directors.  Emily doesn't just teach dance, she breathes dance, she is the epitome of how dance lessons can make you a beautiful dancer.  Coming off her inaugural season of teaching at ASA Academy, Emily has created multiple national champions and remains a force in the competitive dance world.

"The first time I saw my sister perform at a dance recital I knew that I wanted to follow in her footsteps.  It became my dream to dance and perform for myself and for the world to notice it."  Emily began dancing at the age of 3 in Leesburg, FL.  When she was 12 she entered the world of competitive dance, and multiple titles, scholarships, and awards soon followed.  She earned the title of Star System's National Champion and Nexstar National Champion as well.  She was also the very first recipient of the Carol Rose Dance Scholarship when she was a student at ASA Academy.

At the age of 13 she was accepted into both the Orlando Ballet Intensive and the Joffrey School of Ballet Intensive. The following year she auditioned for America's Got Talent which is an experience she will never forget.

She auditioned for American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York City and Los Angeles, Jacksonville University, and USF.  She received AMDA's full scholarship, and scholarships into both colleges as well.

"I have been choreographing dance since the age of 14 and find dance as a perfect way to express oneself and tell a story through precise movements of the human body."

We are so blessed to have Emily on the ASA faculty.
